15.08.22_Return 2 Ithaca (R2I) / Residencia Artística en Ítaca, Grecia.“Curating Art &#38;amp; Artists Program is a 15-days residential project in Ithaca, where international artists produce work on the ideas and meanings of the Odyssey and internationally curators curate their work.

The group of creatives are then invited to develop exhibition pieces on the current R2I’s theme. This will conclude with an exhibition across Europe the upcoming fall from the residency.”

01/ BIOElba Haxel es una artista visual especializada en  fotografía, dirección de arte y vídeo. Su trabajo artístico gira en torno a una amplia gama de temas que exploran conceptos como la identidad, la familia y la relación de los seres humanos con la naturaleza y la tecnología. Inspirada por la literatura, la filosofía, el cine y los textos de divulgación científica, sus imágenes son representaciones abstractas de paisajes interiores y exteriores en los que negocia modelos y construcciones para la percepción del espacio, el tiempo y la materia.

Elba Haxel estudió Comunicación Visual y Fotografía, obteniendo una distinción por una clase magistral en 2020. Ganadora del Premio International Photography Festival Photoalicante 2021, le fue concedida la beca para el Máster en Fotografía de Autor en el Centro de Fotografía Contemporánea de Bilbao y su trabajo ha sido seleccionado para ArtPhoto Barcelona y Descubrimientos PhotoEspaña en Santander entre otros.&#38;nbsp; 

	
BIO (Eng)
Elba Haxel is a visual artist specialising in photography, art direction and video. Her artistic work revolves around a wide range of themes exploring concepts such as identity, family and the relation of humans with nature and technology. Inspired by literature, philosophy, cinema and popular science texts, her images are abstract representations of inner and outer landscapes in which she negotiates models and constructions for the perception of space, time and matter.
Elba Haxel studied Visual Communication &#38;amp; Photography granted with a distinction for a master class in 2020. Winner of the International Photography Festival Photoalicante 2021 Award, she was awarded a scholarship for the Master's Degree in Author Photography at the Bilbao Center for Contemporary Photography, and her work has been selected for ArtPhoto Barcelona and Descubrimientos PhotoEspaña in Santander, among others.
